Lace Front Wigs
A lace front is all about the hairline, and the lace grade is what sells it. We make lace front wigs, lace frontal wigs, full lace, and closures, in every lace grade: HD lace that melts into the skin, transparent lace, Swiss lace, and invisible lace. Sizes run from a standard lace front to a deeper part, and glueless builds let the wearer skip the glue. Hairlines come bleached-knot and pre-plucked to spec. Standard styles sample lead times and bulk delivery schedules are flexible based on order size and customization complexity, with all manufacturing certified under ISO 9001, BSCI, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.

The commercial success of a lace front depends on its hairline realism—where high-definition HD lace melts invisibly into the skin without thick, grey edges. Delivering intricate hand-knotting, bleached knots, and customized hairlines across volume orders is made possible by our 100,000 sq. ft. (10,000 m²) manufacturing center in Zhejiang. Backed by 16 years of wig-making history, our skilled artisans detail every lace piece to ensure a flawless melt. As an audited supplier for Disney and Walmart holding ISO 9001, BSCI, and OEKO-TEX 100 certifications, Raysman locks lace grade, knot clarity, and hairline density to match your approved reference sample unit-by-unit.
The lace front is the most technical category in the wig market, and the one where quality is most visible. The whole point is a hairline that passes for real, and that depends on the lace grade, the knot work, and the construction, far more than on the hair itself. This guide covers the cap types, the lace grades, the sizes, and what actually makes a hairline look natural.
These terms describe how much of the cap is lace and where. A lace front has lace across the front hairline only, the most common and affordable. A frontal extends ear to ear for a hairline the wearer can part and pull back. A full lace is lace across the whole cap, allowing a part or updo anywhere, the most versatile and premium. A closure is a small lace piece, usually at the part, the most protected and budget-friendly. Stocking a front, a frontal, and a closure in the same style covers most buyers.
This is the single biggest quality and price driver. HD lace, also called high-definition or invisible lace, is the thinnest, and it melts into the skin so the hairline looks seamless, which is why it commands the highest price. Transparent lace is slightly thicker but still discreet and photographs well, a strong everyday grade. Swiss lace is durable and reusable, good value for frequent wear. A wholesale buyer who carries HD, transparent, and Swiss covers the premium, mid, and value tiers from one supplier.
Lace size is written as width by depth in inches. A 13x4 lace front is the standard, with thirteen inches across and four inches back, enough for a natural front and some parting. A 13x6 gives six inches of depth for a deeper side or middle part and more styling room. Frontals follow the same widths, while closures come smaller, commonly four by four, five by five, or six by six. Matching the size to how the customer parts the hair avoids returns.
Beyond the lace grade, three details sell the hairline. Bleached knots lighten the dark dots where each strand is tied, so the roots vanish against the lace. A pre-plucked hairline thins the density at the edge to mimic the way real hair gets finer at the front. Baby hairs, fine wisps left at the perimeter, soften the line. We do all three to spec, and we tint the lace to suit different skin tones, so the unit looks worn-in rather than wig-like.
Glueless lace fronts have taken over the beginner and everyday market, since they wear without adhesive using adjustable straps, combs, and an elastic band. Every lace build also comes in any texture and color, a sleek straight or a curly pattern, a natural black or brown or a bright shade from our colored range, and on any cut. For a buyer, the lace front is the construction the rest of the catalog is built on.
Lace is delicate, so handle the hairline gently. Wash in cool water with a little wig shampoo, avoid scrubbing the lace, and air-dry on a stand. Take any glue or adhesive off the lace fully after wear to keep it from tearing, and store the unit on a head form to hold the cap shape and protect the knots.
