Why Buyers Choose Our Synthetic Wigs

Synthetic wigs lead the party, costume, and fashion-color segments because the economics work: low unit cost, color human hair can't reach, and factory pre-styling that holds through washing. Quality still varies a lot between suppliers. Fiber grade, cap construction, and flame-retardant treatment decide whether a wig earns five-star reviews or piles up in returns. We control that chain from fiber sourcing to pre-shipment QC, and we put the specs in writing so buyers know what they are ordering before the first sample ships.
Fiber Grades Matched to the Channel
We run Kanekalon, Toyokalon, heat-resistant, and modacrylic flame-retardant fibers, all Grade-A sourced. Kanekalon stays matte and holds its curl through washing. Heat-resistant fiber lets the end user restyle with a flat iron. Tell us the sales channel and how the wig gets worn, and we spec the fiber to fit the job.

Eight Cap Constructions, All In-House
Every cap is built in-house: lace front in 13×4 and 13×6, full lace, 360 lace, closure in 4×4, 5×5 and 6×6, headband, and glueless adjustable styles. Swiss, transparent, and HD lace are available with bleached or single knots for a clean hairline on listing photos.

Flame-Retardant Safety for Regulated Markets
Our flame-retardant and modacrylic fiber lines self-extinguish on contact with flame. That matters for children's wigs, Halloween products, and any party wig sold into the EU under EN 71-2 toy safety rules. Low-grade PP costume fiber can melt and drip, which sits behind most party-wig burn complaints. We supply test reports so the safety paperwork is covered.

OEM & ODM From Sample to Container
Standard styles sample in 3 days. Custom OEM runs a T0, T1, T2 sample flow with a gold-sample sign-off before bulk, so the production run matches what you approved. MOQ is 100 pieces per style and scales to full container loads for peak season. Private-label packaging, hang tags, and barcodes are all in scope.

Why Source From Raysman

We run our own 10,000 m² synthetic wig factory in Zhejiang, with 16 years of manufacturing behind it and output above one million pieces a year into 50+ markets. Disney and Walmart have cleared us as a designated supplier, and the plant is audited to ISO 9001, BSCI, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Buyers deal with the team running the production lines, which keeps pricing, quality, and lead time under one roof.

FAQs

How do Kanekalon, Toyokalon, and heat-resistant synthetic fibers differ?

Kanekalon is a modacrylic fiber from Kaneka. It has a matte finish, natural light scatter, and holds a factory-set style through washing, so it reads as the most natural of the three. Toyokalon is softer with more sheen and shows up in long fashion wigs, ponytails, and braiding hair. Heat-resistant fiber, also called high-temperature or Futura-class, takes a flat iron or curling wand at low heat, around 180°C (350°F), so end users can restyle it. We supply all three and pick based on whether the customer wants a wear-as-shipped wig or one they can heat-style.

Are your synthetic wigs flame-retardant for kids' and Halloween costumes?

The flame-retardant and modacrylic lines self-extinguish when they meet a flame, which is what regulated markets want for kids' and Halloween costume wigs. Many cheap costume party wigs run on PP fiber that melts and drips, the failure mode behind most burn complaints and recalls. Our flame-retardant fiber meets EU EN 71-2 toy flammability testing, and we send the documentation so you can clear marketplace and customs safety checks.

What are your MOQ, sampling time, and bulk production lead time?

Standard catalog styles sample in 3 days. Custom programs run a gold-sample sign-off before we open bulk, so the run matches your approved sample. Custom MOQ is 100 pieces per style, and stock SKUs ship in small quantities for testing. Bulk production runs about 30 days. For Halloween, we reserve capacity months ahead so seasonal orders land at your FBA or retail dates on time.

Do you offer OEM, ODM, and private-label packaging?

Yes. We handle custom color including Pantone matching, plus length, density, hairline, and cap construction, with full private-label packaging, hang tags, and barcodes. ODM buyers can start from our existing molds to shorten development, while OEM buyers send their own specs and we build to them. NDAs are standard on every custom program.

How long do synthetic wigs last, and how do I cut returns from tangling?

A quality synthetic wig holds up for several months of regular wear, and pre-styled Kanekalon lasts longest because the curl is heat-set into the fiber. Most tangling and shedding traces back to low-grade fiber and loose wefting, so we control fiber grade and run a 7-step inspection from raw fiber to pre-shipment QC to keep returns down. Pass these care notes to your customers: comb from the ends, wash in cool water, and keep heat off any fiber that is not heat-resistant.

A B2B Buyer's Guide to Synthetic Wigs

Synthetic wigs carry most of the party, costume, cosplay, and fashion-color volume in the wig market. They cost less than human hair, come in shades human hair can't reach, and hold their shape after washing. The catch is that quality swings widely between suppliers, and the wrong fiber or cap turns a strong listing into a return problem. This guide covers what separates high quality synthetic wigs from cheap ones, so your sourcing holds up at volume.

Synthetic Fiber Types and What They Suit

Most synthetic hair sits in a few families, and each behaves differently on the shelf and on the head.

  • Kanekalon: a modacrylic fiber made by Kaneka. Matte finish, natural movement, and flame-resistant by nature. It keeps a factory-set curl through repeated washing, which makes it the default for natural-looking party and fashion wigs.
  • Toyokalon: softer with more sheen, common in long fashion wigs, ponytails, and braiding hair. It drapes well but catches more light.
  • Heat-resistant fiber: also sold as high-temperature or Futura-class. It takes a flat iron or curling wand at low heat, so end users can restyle. It looks a touch glossier than Kanekalon.
  • PP (polypropylene): the budget input behind very cheap synthetic wigs. Fine for one-night costume wear, weak on heat tolerance and lifespan.

We stock all of these and match the fiber to the channel. A blonde synthetic wig for a fashion label and a kids' Halloween wig for a regulated market are different briefs, and they should not run on the same fiber.

Synthetic vs Human Hair: The Short Version

Buyers often ask which to stock. For party, costume, and fashion-color lines, synthetic usually wins on cost and color freedom. Human hair earns its place in premium daily-wear and salon ranges.

How to Judge Quality Before You Order

Most tangling and shedding comes back to fiber grade and wefting, not the wearer. Check these before you commit to bulk:

  • Fiber grade and brand named on the spec sheet, not just "synthetic hair"
  • Weft density and how tightly the rows are sewn or knotted
  • Knot bleaching and lace type on synthetic lace front wigs: Swiss, transparent, or HD
  • Cap adjustability on glueless and headband styles
  • Flammability test reports for kids' and EU-bound products
  • A lot-numbered gold sample so reorders match the first run

Match the Cap to Your Product Photos

Cap construction sets how the hairline reads in listing photos and how the wig sits in wear. Lace front gives a believable hairline for close-up shots. Full lace lets the customer part anywhere. Headband wigs sell on speed and price for casual fashion. Bob and curly shapes move fastest in synthetic wigs for women and fashion-color lines. Choose the cap around the use case, then lock it into the sample.

Care That Keeps Return Rates Down

A few care notes passed to your customers will cut returns. Comb from the ends with a wide-tooth comb. Wash in cool water with a little wig shampoo and air-dry on a stand. Keep heat off standard Kanekalon and stay at low heat on heat-resistant fiber. Store away from friction so the ends don't frizz.
